Colliers Wood Recreation Ground Project, South Gardens SW19 2NT
In partnership with the London Borough of Merton, Trees for Cities is planning to increase the woodland habitat on a popular public open space in Colliers Wood.
Working alongside the Making Colliers Wood Happy community organisation and the neighbouring Singlegate Primary School, we aim to plant approximately 800 native whips to form a natural hedge around the boundary of the site to help screen the original boundary wall and to provide habitats for local wildlife.
This project is funded by the London Borough of Merton, the Tree Council Hedge Fund, the City Bridge Trust and the London Tree and Woodland Grant Scheme.
Trees for Cities relies on donations from individuals in order to deliver projects like the Colliers Wood Recreation Ground Project. Please consider supporting our project work by making a donation or buying a community gift.
