Northolt Green Ring: Belvue Park
Trees for Cities is working with Ealing Council on improvements at Belvue Park, Northolt, which are part of the wider Visions for Northolt Project.
Trees for Cities planted 28 new large trees around the park with help from local community members. We have also created a woodland area with students from Belvue High School and Linden Lodge School. We hope these trees will grow and thrive for many years and further enhance an already beautiful park.

Northolt Green Ring plan
Ealing Council secured funding from the Mayor of London’s Green and Resilient Spaces fund to deliver the ‘Green Ring’ - a new 6.3km walking and cycling route that connects and celebrates Northolt’s green spaces. Belvue Park is a focus area for this project with proposed park improvements and new seasonal ponds to reduce flooding.
The introduction of the ponds and additional trees will bring multiple benefits, including; reducing flooding, cooling, increased biodiversity, and visual interest to the area. A play trail is also being proposed as part of these plans, while the existing meadows will remain preserved.
There will be continued opportunities to provide feedback and get involved in the delivery of these improvements at Belvue Park.
