Every day more than 50 urban trees in the UK disappear; as a result of ageing, disease or simply increasing city sprawl.
With 80% of us now living in urban areas, and increasing strains on the health and cleanliness of the air we breathe, we now need these trees more than ever.
Most of the trees we see in our cities today are here thanks to our revolutionary ancestors who planted them as long as 100 years ago for us to enjoy today.
The trees our ancestors planted are reaching now old age; and many of them are being lost due to urban sprawl and tree diseases. We need to plant more today, or our cities will be unrecognisable in a few decades.
