By planting trees together, we plant hope for the future

Our planting season runs from October to March, but there are opportunities for volunteers to help Trees for Cities at projects across London throughout the year. You will always be supported by Trees for Cities staff when volunteering at any of our projects.

Volunteering with us is a fantastic way to:

  • meet new people
  • have fun
  • learn more about trees
  • exercise
  • improve your health and wellbeing
  • gain practical, hands-on experience

Planting an orchard in West London

Trees for Cities is working in partnership with the Borough of Hounslow to plant 23 fruit and nut trees at Thornbury Park. This will create a new orchard to support a rich habitat for wildlife and produce a free, delicious harvest.

Volunteering outside London?

We work with local partners to deliver projects throughout the UK.
