Talking Trees: Taking Action for Towns and Cities
Join us from18-25 April for our Big Give campaign, Talking Trees: taking action for towns and cities. Thanks to our amazing supporters we've hit our match fund target. But you can still donate to plant, protect and promote trees in our towns and cities.

More than 80% of the UK population lives in towns and cities. However, against a national target of 20% tree canopy cover, in some urban areas it is as low as 4% with the most deprived communities hit the hardest by the lack of accessible green space.
Talking Trees: taking action for towns and cities aims to empower thousands of volunteers across the UK to take climate action in their local communities by planting trees in urban parks, schools, and city streets - breaking down barriers to nature and fighting for tree equity for all.
But we need your help to do this.
We've already hit our match fund target, but you can still donate. Any gift you make will help to plant urban trees where they're needed most. Can you help our campaign reach £30,000?
£30,000

This would enable volunteers to plant more than 5,000 trees
Together we can empower people to learn the skills and knowledge needed to plant trees to restore the UK’s canopy cover, to protect the trees we plant, and promote the benefits of trees for us all.
Join us and take action for towns and cities, communities and trees.

What is the Big Give?
The Big Give is the UK's largest match-funding campaign, and from the 18-25 April they'll match any gifts made to our Talking Trees campaign up to a £10,000 target.
After this target, gifts wont receive match funding but they will still help to plant, protect and promote trees in our towns and cities.
The generosity we have received during our past match-giving campaigns has already helped thousands of people up and down the country, and together, we can still achieve so much more.
