Community Celebration Day at Jolly's Green

Join us for fun, crafts and activities on Friday 6th August, 2pm - 6pm

Trees for Cities are pleased to be returning to Jolly's Green this summer for an afternoon for activities, games and natural crafts to celebrate wildlife and nature in the local area.

Everything is free and all are welcome, we will have measures in place to make sure everyone is able to have an enjoyable day while staying safe and avoiding spreading the virus.

Come along anytime, look out for the green marquee in the park.

What have we done at Jolly's Green?

In October 2019 Trees for Cities worked with local schools and residents to plant 26 new trees around Jolly's Green, 15 of which were planted on our community planting day.

We hope these trees will create a tranquil and beautiful space for residents to enjoy for years to come.

The established woodland area on the east side of Jolly's Green was planted by Trees for Cities in the year 2000 and has provided shelter and habitat for wildlife ever since as well as a barrier to pollution coming from the A12.

We have also planted trees and flowers in nearby Langdon Park.
