Planting with the Community

This is a free event and everyone is welcome, Trees for Cities will provide all the tools and equipment you need as well as expert guidance on tree planting from our urban forest team. There will also be a free hot lunch for volunteers.
We will are also planning tree planting activities for community groups, in the week leading up to the event and on the day. if you are part of a local group or organisation that would like to do some planting with us please contact John at Johnk@treesforcities.org
If you would like to come and plant a tree with us, please sign up using the form below. We hope to see you there :)
What are we planting and where?
The planting areas marked on the design will grow into woodland areas, either expanding existing areas of trees or creating new ones. The planting will be set out so trees will grow to different heights to create a variety of habitats for wildlife. The species we plant will be UK native woodland species chosen for their suitability for the ground conditions where they are planted
The planting will take place in November so there is plenty of time to finalise a design for the space. We are hoping to involve local people in planting as much as possible so please let us know if you would like to come and plant a tree with us.
