New Trees for Redbridge Recreation Ground copy
Trees for Cities are pleased to be working with London Borough of Redbridge and Vision Redbridge Culture and Leisure to plant new trees at Redbridge Recreational Ground.
Planting new young trees will help to increase tree canopy cover in the area, which will improve habitats for wildlife, increase natural biodiversity and support the health and wellbeing of everyone in the surrounding area.
Join us for the planting day!
We will be hosting a free community tree planting day on Saturday 22nd October 2022 from 10am to 3pm. Come and get stuck in planting a tree with us!
This is a free event, open to all ages.
What we will provide:
- Tools and supervision
- Refreshments and a free vegan lunch
- Other games, entertainment and activities for all the family
Sign up for the event has closed, but if you would like to join us, please head to the Rec for 10am to ensure a place in the tree planting activities.
