​Join our celebration of National Tree Week 2020! Though we're in lockdown, there are still things we can do together to make our cities greener, happier and healthier.

Despite a challenging year due to the global pandemic, we’ve been busy delivering a transformational urban greening project at Racecourse Estate in Northolt, Ealing.

As many pupils return to school, we have put together a bunch of great resources for parents, children and schools ranging from food growing to tree planting!

Our planting season saw us plant nearly 100,000 trees with thousands of volunteers 💪 Not to mention our Schools programme which has grown bigger and better than ever!

Trees for Cities and Ecosia have teamed up to launch an initiative to plant trees in and surrounding NHS hospitals in the UK.

Over the four years of the Trees for Schools programme, we've helped 306 London primary schools make their school surroundings greener and healthier!

“I never used to come here because I was scared to walk down here with my kids after school. Now we feel far more relaxed and walk to school here every day”.

National Tree Week 2019 saw us plant over 29,000 trees with 1000 volunteers across the country! Together, we made cities greener, happier and healthier.

Jolly’s Green in Tower Hamlets holds a special place in our hearts - we planted trees here 20 years ago, and this month we went back to plant more!
