Edinburgh: Planting Day at Stenhouse Greenspace

We are delighted to be partnering with Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust, City of Edinburgh Council and The Queen's Green Canopy to help the community plant new trees in Stenhouse Greenspace.

The free community tree planting event on Saturday 5th March will help to enhance the quality and improve the connectivity and functionality of the greenspaces along the tram route, for the benefit of both people and wildlife. The new trees will also support the city’s target of becoming a million tree city.

Come and get stuck in to help plant new trees!

The event, in celebration of Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee in 2022, will host crafts, activities and more, ensuring fun for all the family. By planting new trees you will help foster a lasting positive change to the local environment, by increasing biodiversity and supporting our natural wildlife.

A hot vegan lunch and refreshments will be provided. Everybody is welcome to take part - come and join us!

Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who joined the planting day. We hope you enjoyed it!

If you attended the event, please take some time to fill out a Post-Event Survey which will help us to monitor our work. Thank you.
