Scotland
Angus
In Dundee, Dawnson Park’s blossom avenue is one not to be missed, with pink blossoms sometimes blooming into early May.
Argyll and Bute
Helensburgh is famous for its tree-lined streets, with pink and white blossom decorating several streets in the town in April.
Lanarkshire
In Glasgow, Blyrhswood Square, Glasgow Green and Alexandra Park are your go-to for those pretty Instagram shots.
Lothian
In Edinburgh, The Meadows is the best place to settle down with a picnic and enjoy hanami (the Japanese custom of blossom viewing), while Princes Street Gardens will also be in bloom in spring, including some of our orchard trees planted along the Church of St Cuthbert wall. Bonus Edinburgh location is the Edinburgh-Kyoto Friendship Garden at Lauriston Castle!
England
Bristol
In Bristol, Castle Park’s Cherry Avenue lives up to its name. Or take a stroll around Cliftonwood, which is full of pink blooms in spring.
Berkshire
Heading over to Reading, The Harris Garden is a hidden gem tucked away on the University of Reading’s campus, and full of blossoms in spring.
Devon
Make a trip to the Washington Singer Building at the University of Exeter to check out a cherry orchard in full bloom.
Or go further down to Home Park in Plymouth for a beautiful pink avenue.
London
For London there’s no shortage of blossom guides, so we’ve picked out the less known areas. Head out early to beat the crowds (we’re talking sunrise) to Battersea Park or Kensington Gardens.
One of London’s latest blossom displays was planted in 2021 in the London Blossom Garden in Queen Elizabeth Park in memorial for those who died in the Covid-19 pandemic.
If you’re looking for an even quieter display, these London streets fit the bill: Winterbrook Road and its neighbouring Stradella Road in SE24, and for trees we’ve planted visit Myrdle Street, E1 and Watts Grove, E3.
Norfolk
Over in Norwich, Chapelfield Gardens is the place to go for that hanami experience, and nearby Church of St Peter Mancroft is also worth the visit.
Nottinghamshire
In Nottingham head to the Arboretum and Highfields Park for spring blooms, and while you’re there of course check out Cherry Tree Hill!
West Midlands
In Birmingham, check out Brindleyplace, where a cherry blossom day is celebrated.
Yorkshire
In Leeds, head to Potternewton Park for a beautiful row of cherry blossoms.
For a full highstreet in bloom, walk along The Grove in Ilkley and enjoy a coffee under an array of spring blossom!
If you’re in Sheffield, Crookes Valley Park is the place for those colourful snaps.
Wales
Glamorgan
In Cardiff, a new cherry blossom tree avenue was planted in 2022 to commemorate the friendship between Japan and Wales. Or for more established trees, head to Haley Park, Llandaff Fields, Alexandra Gardens or Roath Park.
Monmouthshire
Tredegar Park in Newport hosts a beautiful display of blossoms for visitors to enjoy and is reachable by bus from Cardiff.

Northern Ireland
Antrim
In Belfast, Merville Garden Village transforms into candyfloss pink in late April and early May, while the trees in Queen's University grounds are also in bloom.
Armagh
County Armagh is known as the Orchard County, so May is the time to view apple trees in bloom, like the ones at Ardress House.
