Winter appeal 2025
We've got ambitious plans this planting season, but we need your help to bring them to life.
Donate today to plant trees where they're needed most.
Planting hope this winter
It's planting season right now and your support will help get trees in the ground where they're needed most.
Whether it's transforming a concrete playground, bringing life to a dull street or greening forgotten corners of towns and cities, your gift will grow a better future for us all.
£80,000
appeal target
The funds raised through this appeal will support our work this planting season and could help plant up to 10,000 urban trees
Why your support counts
Urban trees do more than decorate our cities - they clean our air, cool our streets in summer and reduce flooding in winter, support wildlife, and boost wellbeing.
Yet millions of people living in towns and cities still lack access to trees and their benefits.
With extreme weather, heatwaves and local flooding on the rise, we've never needed urban trees more.
It's not too late to make a difference for today and future generations but we must act now.
Michael Palin calls on your support
We're delighted that Sir Michael Palin, longstanding friend of Trees for Cities, will be delivering our BBC Radio 4 Appeal this November.
Tune in to BBC Radio 4 from Sunday 30th November, or find out more below.
