Winter appeal 2025
It's planting season right now and we need your support to help us plant urban trees in this crucial window.
Every gift will help get trees in the ground this winter for a greener, happier, healthier future.
Planting hope this winter
At Trees for Cities we believe everyone should have access to trees and nature, no matter your postcode. That's why we've planted nearly 2 million trees in towns and cities up at down the UK.
This winter we've got ambitious plans to bring the benefits of trees to more people than ever.
But we need your help.
We're raising vital funds to support our work this planting season. Can you help us bring trees and nature to those that need it most this winter?
So far we've raised £36,000 - plus match funds that's an incredible £72,000. That's enough to help plant 9,000 urban trees in schools, parks and playgrounds this winter.
We're half way through our planting season and time is running out to raise the remaining funds before the season ends.
By supporting our appeal you'll help plant urban trees and make a lasting, tangible difference to towns and cities.
Double your impact
For a short time only, every gift to our appeal will be doubled!
That means for every £1 you give, we receive £2 - that's double the impact at no extra cost to you.
Please help us unlock these match funds and plant double the trees this winter.
£80,000

That's enough to help plant 10,000 new urban trees
Your support matters
2 in 3 UK urban neighbourhoods don't have the minimum recommended tree cover.
That means millions are missing out on the benefits of trees, leaving children and vulnerable adults susceptible to the impacts of air pollution, urban heat, and the effects of climate change.
Trees are one simple solution but we need your help.
Just £8 could help plant an urban tree this planting season.
If you can, please help us reach our tree planting target and help grow a greener future.
